So this year I have actually written/ journaled much more than I’ve posted here. Much of what I wrote, I wrote hastily and on my phone. And by the time I’d written something out, I’d be emotionally spent, my mental processing would be near exhausted, and I usually needed to get around to doing other necessary things.
Also, for a proper blog post, I need an actual keyboard with finger-sized keys, a large screen where I can easily go back and forth between open windows, and also a system that does not glitch my text every time I use the backspace. I need my laptop. And that is not with me at all times, so it is harder to squeeze writing on a laptop into the odd spaces of my schedule, which are often the only time I have to write.
Anyhoo so, over the next little while, I am going to try and flesh out/edit/ post those already-written things, postdated to when I wrote them. Not sure how that shows up on notifications.
& Here’s hoping you have much to be grateful for this (and the upcoming) holiday season.

Thanks for writing your blog. I like reading it and don’t like missing posts. When you publish a post effective for an earlier date I won’t see it in my blog reader, but if I’m alerted to its presence I will seek it in your archives (as I did in the present instance).
I understand why you would want your posts to be chronologically accurate for your records and for subsequent readers of your archives. One solution might be for you to link back to the posts that were posted for earlier dates (or simply alert current readers to their presence as you did in this post, so we know to look for them). The more information you give us about them the easier they will be for us to find.
I hope this is useful for you. Thanks for sharing your life with readers like myself.
